{Stauros Metals} Sharpening Young Men for the Kingdom of God.

Knife, Stauros Metals, Blacksmith, Go Until God Says No

Last night at lifegroup we talked about the blessing that God has given us and our responsibility to pass it on to others. As most of you know Evan has been given the blessing of making knives. It is one of his many passions and he really enjoys the heat, the sweat, the pounding of metal and all that entails. Recently, he has started a project with his Dad that brings in Fathers and Sons to build knives together. Kind of like a right of passage thing. Both Evan and Owen really enjoying blessing these young men and their Dads and teaching them how to blacksmith. These are a few pictures of last weekend when he had a whole crew over working on various stages of the process. If you would like to become apart of our ministry please send us an email at sarah_halferty@wycliffe.org. We would love to involve more men in this ministry and sharpen these young men for the kingdom.

Take one for the tooth

Last week Evan got all four of his wisdom teeth out. Thanks to all of you who were praying for us he had very minimal pain and hardly any swelling! Which we definitely contribute to God and are so thankful for a good doctor. Continue to pray for him as he continues to heal and work full time.

He was so funny once he got out of surgery. Practicing his brother Justin’s “shwink”. Definition: the sexy wink. Luckily it was only with me and none of the nurses! Haha.
